Rozali Benliyan acted with Lusi Arusyak in the film Himmet Ağa'nın İzdivacı (Marriage of the Benevolent Master), in 1916, which was the first feature film to be made in the Ottoman Empire.

The film Himmet Ağa'nın İzdivacı was an adaptation by Sigmund Weinberg of Molière's play, Le Mariage forcé (Marriage by Force). Sigmund Weinberg. who also directed the film, could not complete filming because the leading actors were called up into the Army. The unfinished parts of the film were shot by Fuat Uzkınay after the war in 1918, and Himmet Ağa'nın İzdivacı was shown in the same year.

Rozali Benliyan is one of the actresses of The National Ottoman Operetta Company, which was founded in 1910. The National Ottoman Operetta Company performed at the Odeon Theatre in Beyoglu, and Benliyan was the director of the opera.
